🤝 Highlights from Across the Country: More MP Meetings! 🤝

Folks from all over the country have been meeting with their MPs to get them on board with the campaign. Check out these photos of our rockstar petition leader for Scarborough Centre meeting with his MP Salma Zaid, who is now a Heat Pumps for All champion!

If your MP isn’t a climate champion yet, meeting with them is one of the most effective ways to get them on board with the campaign – get in touch at canada.organizing@350.org for support to make it happen. You can also send your MP an email using our easy tool

🔥Hot Heat Pump Fact🔥

Did you know that a Canadian province already has a free heat pump program? Prince Edward Island might be the smallest province, but some of its climate policies are packing a big punch! All homeowners on PEI with a household income of $100,000 or less are eligible for a completely free heat pump, complete with installation!

PEI has one of the highest rates of energy poverty in the country and is very reliant on oil heating, so this program is a big win for the province. It also shows the rest of the country what could be possible!

📹 Action Alert – Watch and share our mini-documentary! 📹

This summer, our team produced a mini-documentary about PEI’s free heat pump program!

At a time when the Right is trying to convince Canadians that climate action will make their lives harder, we need to continue to uplift stories like this one that illustrate how bold government action can materially improve people’s lives – improving our resilience to climate impacts, safeguarding the planet, and cutting our utility bills.

Check it out, and share PEI’s inspiring story of climate action with your friends and family!
